Soap bubbles by the sea

June 2025, in Salvador. The day began with getting ready in a house of stone walls and stained-glass windows: the bride in her robe, laughter by the window, and the groom in a lilac bow tie adjusting his ring before heading down.

The ceremony took place on a lawn facing the sea, with an arch of orange flowers and guests in bright dresses. On the way out, soap bubbles filled the aisle. Then the couple walked barefoot onto the sand for late-afternoon portraits between the beach and the palm trees. The night ended on the dance floor under string lights, with sparklers for the send-off.
