Braids and late-afternoon sun

A solo portrait session in a park, from late afternoon to the last of the light. There were three dresses: a teal print, a black and white halter with silver armbands, and a long pink dress that spun through the air. Her long braids, with light streaks, ran through every photo.

The park supplied the settings: low-branched trees, dark foliage, red flowers, a rope swing and sunflowers in her hands. The low sun came through the leaves and drew shadows across her face, and the result sits somewhere between portrait and fashion.
